Devon and Cornwall’s Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez has said she is ‘saddened’ by the resignation of the deputy commissioner Mark Kingscote.
Mr Kingscote joined the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in June 2024 and worked on a number of projects including Street Focus Torquay and the scrutiny of police estate investment.
Commissioner Hernandez said she wishes Mr Kingscote well after he stepped down for personal reasons
She said: “I am saddened that Mark Kingscote has had to step down from his role as Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for personal reasons.
“I would like to thank Mark for his hard work over the past six months, especially helping to deliver my Street Focus Torquay project which is continuing to make improvements to safety in the town centre, his efforts to support the police museum and scrutinising the police estate investment plans.
“I wish Mark all the best for the future.”
