Registers and expenses

We know that transparency on how public money is spent, matters to members of the public and it matters to us too.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) is a publicly funded organisation and publishes a range of information about how money is spent.  This includes information that must be published under section 11 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (the Specified Information Orders) and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. 

The following information is included within this section: 

Expenditure over £500: all public bodies must report each month all transactions with third parties over £500 in value.  We aim to be as transparent as we can but, in some cases, information identified as being commercially or operationally sensitive or which relates to individuals has been redacted using the exemptions afforded under the Freedom of Information Act.

Contracts: list of contracts entered into by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, including grant agreements and commissioned services.

Gifts and Hospitality Registers: details on gifts and hospitality to the Commissioner and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Register of Disclosable Interests: declaration of disclosable interests for the Commissioner, the OPCC Chief Executive and the OPCC Treasurer

Collaboration agreements: police collaboration agreements made under section 22a of the Police Act 1996 which enable collaboration between police force areas.

Asset Register: list of assets owned by the Police and Crime Commissioner

Record of Expenses:  details of the expenses of the Commissioner, Chief Executive and OPCC Treasurer
