The Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) Order places a duty on Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) to publish an annual assessment of their force’s performance in respect of police complaint handling, and an assessment of the PCC’s own performance in exercising their statutory functions regarding police complaint reviews.
