The Police and Crime Commissioner monitors crime and performance data across the force area. This helps the Commissioner to monitor progress against the Police and Crime Plan and assess Devon & Cornwall Police’s performance.
The Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan 2025-29 seeks to improve your policing and crime services by holding the Chief Constable to account, with a particular focus on improvement to contact services (999 and 101), investigations, public confidence, and inspection results from His Majesty’s Inspectorate of the Constabulary.
In addition, the Plan also seeks to prioritise four crime areas, including violence, theft, drugs & alcohol, and anti-social behaviour.
The Commissioner produces regular reports using crime and performance data to monitor progress against the Police and Crime Plan. These reports are presented to the Police and Crime Panel and can be found below.
For reports related to previous Police and Crime Plans, please refer to the Police and Crime Panel website.
