The Commissioner’s office is strengthening support for the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector by investing in tools and opportunities to help organisations secure funding and deliver local interventions.
Access to Grantfinder has been introduced to help VCSE organisations identify relevant funding opportunities. This supports groups to develop and deliver their own initiatives, including those aligned to priorities identified through the Disrupt project.
To complement this, a monthly funding newsletter has been launched from March 2026, providing regular updates on opportunities available to organisations working in this space.
Practical support is also being provided to build capability across the sector. A masterclass on applying for grant funding was delivered in Autumn 2025, equipping organisations with the knowledge and confidence to strengthen funding applications and develop sustainable projects.
Organisations working to address violence against women and girls, or related issues, are encouraged to engage with this support and explore available funding opportunities.
